The 2009 Gold Coast ITU Triathlon World Championships Festival Village will be located on the huge events lawn of the Southport Broadwater Parklands. The Event Headquarters is a newly designed events precinct, currently undergoing a $32 million makeover to ensure the facility is world class.

A public stage and large outdoor screen will allow you to take in the day’s Triathlon action, while a schedule of surrounding activities will keep you entertained each day. The area will include food and drink outlets with café style seating so you can sit back and enjoy the fabulous view over the open Broadwater.

By late afternoon the Festival Village will come alive with an evening entertainment program to ensure our international visitors enjoy their time on the Gold Coast. From an ‘Aussie Beer Garden’ to the traditional ‘Great Aussie BBQ’, it’s time to celebrate the day’s events and party into the evening.
