The Gold Coast is home to the 2009 ITU Triathlon World Championships, and with this we welcome all members of the community to be a part of this event. The festival will incorporate community activities, school programs, evening entertainment programs, along with one of the biggest Sport & Lifestyle Expo in the Southern Hemisphere.

A tradition at ITU Triathlon World Championships, this breakfast is not just for women but any supporters of women’s sports and business.

‘Adopt a Country’ Program
An invitation extends to all Gold Coast based schools to ‘Adopt a County’ competing in the 2009 Gold Coast ITU Triathlon World Championships. Over 42 countries will be represented in the event, each one sending teams of Olympic and Sprint distance triathletes to compete amongst the world’s best on the Gold Coast in 2009.
